Beautiful photography from an exceptionally talented photographer

Hello! I stumbled across a very very very talented South African photographer tonight by the name of

Wil Punt of Peartree Photography.

He is an international award winning photographer and rightly so! He is amazing, I just adore his photos, I have seen the gallery on his website of weddings which look to be around the Cape in South Africa and around stunning places in Europe, with beautiful mountain backdrops and stunning light...the subjects are captured in photos that are so full of life and natural.

My dream one day is to marry in South Africa and if that happens then I am most definitely going to hire him as the official photographer, he really captures the beauty of the moment and to me photos are so incredibly important. I only wish I could be as talented as this man and one day if I could be just a fraction as talented as he is behind the camera then I shall be a very very happy person.

Check him out!!

Please share any amazing links to photographers who inspire you, big love for art!
Goodnight and thank you for reading!
Peace out!

Foundations and Tinted Moisturise review! No.7 Mineral Foundation and Nivea Tinted Moisturising Cream

Good afternoon!

Today I decided I would review a foundation and a tinted moisturiser, both of them are rather lightweight on the skin but offer good coverage.

My skin: Oily tzone, blemish prone on neck and chin area. Getting a foundation to match my face and neck without being too ghost like or if perfect in the morning then by lunch time oxidisation has set in and my skin is then too orange and streaky on the neck... it is a nightmare! Nevermind the breakouts I have had from foundations namely Stila, Bobbi Brown and MAC foundations.
What are your experiences with such brands? Any to recommend?

1) No.7 Essentially Natural:Mineral Foundation 40ml in shade 205 Cool Shell.

''Lightweight hydration for a healthy looking finish, SPF 15, Hypo-allergenic''.

No.7 claim you achieve "soft, fresh and healthy looking skin...so lightweight and comfortable....gives delicate coverage whilst still covering blemishes and minimising the appearance of pores...contains light diffusing ingredients for a healthy and natural finish"

My thoughts?
I had a voucher from boots for money off of No.7 products. So I ended up choosing this foundation in store as it was a really nice shade on the back of my hand and blended very well. I payed £8 instead of £13 for it.
  • Initially I got home and applied it to a clean face and I was amazed. It looked so good, a really good colour match and smelt nice but it did not blend so well.
  • I had some blemishes which it covered most of but i mixed some of the foundation with my Vichy concealer and it worked wonders.
  • This foundation photographs very well despite the factor 15 which usually has the effect of giving me a ghost white face.
  • My skin stayed matt for few hours without using any powder
  • I definitely found that this foundation mixed with Revlon Colourstay in 180 was perfect for me, combined I had the perfect coverage for my blemish prone skin and a good colour match and blending was much easier and for nights out where the flash can be harsh and make up can melt, I would say this combination were pretty good!
  • I had no extra breakouts which I can say were caused by this product.
Overall conclusion: 7/10
I like this product mixed with other foundations as it gives skin a flawless look especially in photographs but I will probably not be repurchasing this foundation again but maybe will keep an open mind to buy again with a voucher later in the summer for day wear! I will keep you updated.

2)Nivea Visage "Daily Essentials:Tinted Moisturising Day Cream" 50ml

Shade: NATURAL for all skin type. Claims "Moisturises & evens skin tone for a healthy-looking complexion"..."with light reflecting pigments and vitamin E"..."With UVA/UVB protection".

We have had a few hot days in the past couple of weeks so I was able to go and relax in the garden a little. So I decided to use this Tinted Day cream that my mother gave me, as it moisturised, gave me a healthy glow and hopefully protected my skin (apparently).

  • I'm not a fan of using just any sun screen on my face, my skin is sensitive so I hate to use thick and fragrant body sunlotion or oil on my face.
  • I have a bit of a tan at the moment but this is still a bit too dark for me to use as make up in the street I think, it looks healthy but it is not for those who are still very pale.
  • It does however when mixed with my olay moisturiser, gives a nice glow to the face and with a bit of bronzer it looks really nice, if only i were more tanned!
  • It definitely moisturises and can seem a bit oily looking so really not for those who want a matt look on the face but if you like a glowy look then this is for you because my skin did look healthy with it on and I hope it was protected from the sun but how bizaar that they do not have an spf value?
  • Overall conclusion? 4/10
  •  Good if you are are relaxing and want some quick and easy make up but I am between a Revlon Colorstay 150 and 180 at the moment and this shade from Nivea would not really be suitable for you, coverage is NOT great for blemished skin but overall this is a nice product and I say give it a go, combined with my Revlon Colorstay 150 I have had some good glowy and colour matching success.
Please let me know if you had tried any of these and any recommendations for me to try.

Thank you for reading!!
Peace out!
